Čarni buries hopes of the defending champions and leads Slovan to the semifinals

The F6 start couldn’t have gone any better. Both quarterfinal matches provided thrilling finishes.

In the first match between ASV Wien and Pallanuoto Trieste, after a 0-0 first quarter, neither team managed to break away. Only towards the end of the game did the Viennese side manage to create a difference, securing their spot in today’s semifinal, where they will face Zagreb’s Mladost.

The Slovenian showdown between Triglav and Zmaji delivered an excellent match and a dramatic finish, where Jošt Čarni scored the winning goal just before the end, securing a ticket to the semifinals, where they will face the top-ranked team from the regular season, Opatija.
